Phó Thủ tướng Chính phủ Bùi Thanh Sơn vừa ký Quyết định số 1180/QĐ-TTg về phê duyệt Đề xuất Dự án “Nâng cấp giao thông địa phương hiệu quả và thích ứng biến đổi khí hậu tỉnh Nam Định với tổng vốn vay từ Ngân hàng Thế giới (WB) lên tới 49,6 triệu USD (tương đương hơn 1.200 tỷ đồng). Dự án hứa hẹn sẽ tạo bước đột phá cho hệ thống hạ tầng giao thông của tỉnh, nâng cao khả năng kết nối liên vùng, thích ứng với thiên tai và thúc đẩy phát triển bền vững.
Dự án do UBND tỉnh Nam Định đề xuất, tập trung vào cải tạo và nâng cấp tuyến đường tỉnh 488 – trục giao thông huyết mạch kết nối các khu vực nội tỉnh, cùng một số tuyến đường trục xã, liên xã có mật độ lưu thông cao nhưng hiện còn hạn chế về hạ tầng.
Bên cạnh đó, nhiều cây cầu địa phương cũng sẽ được xây mới hoặc cải tạo theo thứ tự ưu tiên, nhằm nâng cao năng lực thông hành, đảm bảo an toàn giao thông trong mùa mưa lũ.
Theo kế hoạch, dự án sẽ góp phần hoàn thiện kết cấu hạ tầng giao thông theo định hướng Chiến lược phát triển giao thông vận tải quốc gia và phù hợp với quy hoạch tỉnh. Qua đó, không chỉ cải thiện điều kiện đi lại, giảm nguy cơ tai nạn mà còn thúc đẩy phát triển kinh tế - xã hội, nâng cao năng lực cạnh tranh địa phương và chất lượng sống của người dân.
UBND tỉnh Nam Định sẽ là cơ quan đầu mối triển khai dự án. Thủ tướng yêu cầu địa phương phải rà soát kỹ lưỡng các hạng mục đầu tư để tránh trùng lặp, dàn trải, đồng thời tiếp thu đầy đủ ý kiến đóng góp từ các bộ ngành liên quan để hoàn thiện báo cáo đề xuất chủ trương đầu tư một cách chặt chẽ, hiệu quả.
Bộ Tài chính được giao chịu trách nhiệm toàn diện về nội dung đề xuất và quá trình triển khai, đồng thời sẽ phối hợp với các đơn vị liên quan giám sát chặt chẽ tiến độ, chất lượng và hiệu quả sử dụng vốn vay WB. Đây được xem là một trong những dự án giao thông địa phương trọng điểm có yếu tố chống chịu cao trước biến đổi khí hậu trong giai đoạn 2025–2030.

UBND tỉnh Nam Định vừa phê duyệt Quy hoạch phân khu IX.A, điều chỉnh quy hoạch hai bên tuyến đường Nam Định – Phủ Lý (đoạn qua địa phận tỉnh Nam Định), với tổng diện tích lên tới 2.444 ha, dân số dự kiến năm 2040 khoảng gần 50.000 người. Đây sẽ là khu đô thị xanh – thông minh, cửa ngõ chiến lược phía Tây Bắc TP Nam Định, đồng thời là vùng dự trữ phát triển trong tương lai.

Ngày 14/6, Ủy ban nhân dân tỉnh Nam Định ban hành 2 quyết định, chấp thuận chủ trương đầu tư dự án Cảng thủy nội địa Nghĩa Hưng (giai đoạn 1) và Khu công nghiệp Hồng Tiến, được định hướng phát triển thành khu công nghiệp chuyên ngành sản xuất lắp ráp hàng điện tử, máy vi tính và sản phẩm quang học.
